Fair Week 2009

We had a great time once again this year at fair. I didn't even have my camera most of the time and missed so many things. Connor went to the Livestock sale with papa and loved it. He wanted papa to buy him a pig to ride. The girls had a blast with Kelsy (our cousin) all week. She came and stayed with us and we loved having her. That is for another post. I am also glad that fair is over. It costs so much money to go down there by the time you pay to get into the events to the food, candy, texas twister drinks, funnelcakes, carnival wristbands. Ugh...I need a job now just to pay for all the fun we've had. Papa also had the girls enter some vegtables in the Arts & Crafts Exhibits. Madison won Grand Prize for the HUGE turnips. Then the both won first prize for the apricots, & squash.

I miss those fairs and rodeos...out here we have Italian Festivals, and all kinds of other Festivals, but no rodeos! We almost got Ed to go to the Tractor pull at the fair grounds in Evanston last weekend, he wanted to go, cause he thought it would be funny to tell his friends here about it but we didn't end of having time! Darn it! And I can see why the girls like Nick's friends, they are adorable!
