First day of 2nd grade!!!

Maddie's first day in 2nd grade. I can't believe how grown up she is. She was so excited for school this year. She didn't sleep much last night and still got up when I asked her to this morning. She had a hard time deciding what to wear and how we should do her hair. I think she also used my whole bottle of perfume before we walked out the door. She is growing up way to fast.

Trip to Cheyenne

We just got back from visiting family in Cheyenne. My grandma, and her 2 sisters and an uncle drove from Illinois to Cheyenne to my uncle's house. We had a fun visit for a few days. We mostly visited and ate yummy food! We also took a tour of the Budweiser Brewing Plant and were able to see the Budweiser Clydesdale's. The Clydesdale's were the main reason for the tour. Connor loves horses and since it is so close to Cheyenne, I wanted to see what he would think of the Clydesdale's. He loved them of course.
Thanks so much to Uncle Keith and Aunt Helen for letting us all stay for a few days and Helen for all the yummy food. Thanks to Ethan and Evan for giving the kids toys. And thanks to grandma, Aunt Mayo, Uncle David & Aunt Dena for driving so far to come see us. We love and miss you already.

Anyone want some bikini bread?

Hannah wanted some Bikini (zucchini) Bread for breakfast this morning! What a goofy girl! I am going to be sad when she says all her words right! She says most everything right. Just a few funny words every once in a while.

Week in Review

The Duchesne County Fair was this week and we had a blast. We were at the carnival 3 nights playing.


Connor was in the Baby Show and got 3rd place.

We went to the Demolition Derby. Had lots of yummy food. Connor really liked the funnel cakes.
And the parade is this afternoon.

We also had one heck of a rain storm yesterday too. Our yard was a little flooded.

All in a day at the Karren's

We have had quite a busy day! First of all Connor burnt breakfast! He turned to oven up and I didn't notice until it was too late. The girls were in the UBIC parade on the "STARS" float. This was Hannah first time and she had a ball. Then we came home to sidewalk chaulk drawing the rest of the day. And ended with nice clean kids with cool hair do's. I also wanted to tell my mom thanks for all her help this week. She helped me with laundry and cleaning and running kids to different places. We also went swimming a few times and had so much fun! I wish she had a week off of work more often. Thanks so much mom! I love you mostest!
