Blue Bell Corn Maze

We went to the corn maze last week with cousins. We had so much fun. The girls just love playing together. They are already asking when we can go again. Hannah got in a bit of trouble and wasn't able to come with us. We missed her, so hopefully next time she will turn her ears on a few days before so she can come. ( I don't know what it is with my kids, they pass hearing tests but still can't hear me when I talk to them. Oh wait, is that what they call selective hearing???) Thanks to Megan for taking pictures! And Madison for helping Danny in the cow train!! She just loves him to pieces!!

Oh so cute...

Look at these adorable forts for kids. This gal is brillant. Now we dont' have to drag out all the blankets and pillow to make a hut. You can just throw these over a card table. They have ones for boys too. So cute......
Go here to see them:

Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband

They made their video in The Uintah basin. My babysitter is in this video and they are filming at the pool in Duchesne.

Marble Knoll

I went with Madison on a field trip to Marble Knoll earlier this week. I doesn't look like much but on top of the hill, there are little "marbles" everywhere. I am not sure how they form but it was really fun. The school has been taking trips there ever since Wes was in school. They have found petrified sea turtle shells and alligator or crocodile teeth up there. It was a lot of fun to look for these. Madison loves to look for rocks. Maybe some day she will be an archaeologist.

This is only one part of the hill that we climbed, there were a few more like this little rock hill.

This one is for you Heidi! Deloy was hard at work!!

Pieces of the petrified turtle shell & petrified wood.

Marbles- there were all sizes and alot of them were broke in half.

We went arrowhead hunting a few days before with Wes and that was so fun too. Wes showed us all the signs to look for. Like where the dirt is still black from the fires and all the different rocks that have washed down from what used to be their fires. His family has been doing this for many years and have found a ton of arrowheads. Madison and I can't wait until we find our first one too. We found a bunch of chips that day but no full arrowheads.

Upon looking for the pictures from the field trip, it looks as though Hannah has

had my camera.....

We have a new addition...

to our family. We got a new little puppy this weekend. CiCi is a Coton De Tulear, she is 10 weeks old. She is so cute and the kids have had so much fun with her. They even slept on my moms kitchen floor with her. The girls have been fighting over her a bit. My mom was setting the timer at her house and they would take turns pretty good with that. We have had to make them put her down on the floor. They carry her around like a little baby. My mom kept telling them to put her down so we could see if CiCi knew how to walk. That is how much they would carry her around. I think poor CiCi is a little scared of Connor! But who wouldn't be for how wild this little man is. He chases her with his toys and she just runs for dear life. CiCi is already a little spoiled. She has new pink collars with rhinestones , leash's, pink bed (also came with a blanket), & pink bowls. She is so cute. And the best part is they don't hardly shed. I can't stand dog hair so this is a big plus for me.

Hannah with CiCi, and yes, I forgot she also has a new pink

sweater from grandma DeAnn.

The girls on the kitchen floor with CiCi in the upper left corner.

They did not look comfy!

Also on the way home from Evanston, this is what we saw on top

the mountains through Strawberry Valley.

SNOW.... I am NOT ready for this yet!!!

Frankenstein comes a little early this year!!!!!

So this is how mad Connor gets when I put him in bed. He is still a little upset that we got rid of the Binky. He only does this when it is time to go to bed. He climbed out of the crib 4 different times last night. The first 2 times, he would sit on the edge of the dresser and scream at me. Then he figured out that I put him back in the crib instead of letting him get down, so he figured out how to crib off the dresser and come walking out into the kitchen. What a little stink. I can't believe how stubborn he is. He does so good all day and turns into Frankenstein at night. I guess Halloween comes a little early this year at the Karrens.
