Let's play catch up!

We really haven't been that busy. I have just been to lazy to download pics from my camera. Now let's seen if I can catch up on blogging. Here goes:.........

Madison lost another tooth. And the TF did come the night she lost it. Good thing, I was thinking were were going to have to call in Santa to do the job. This tooth was barely hanging on and she would NOT let me near her. Now we already have another wiggly tooth. Dang the TF is going to go broke this year.

Our Christmas elf showed up. An elf comes every year to see if the kids are still being good. Sometimes he leaves at night to report to Santa when they have been naughty little kids. Good thing he usually comes back. Our elf the last few years has been named OCKY. This year Bernard came to visit and I think he will be here the remaining years to come.....

We went to Disney on Ice with our cousins, Kade, Kinzie and Melina. We had a blast just hanging out in the hotel room, watching Disney on Ice and shopping. We can't wait for another fun trip with them. The boys play so good together and we have a blast with them.

My sis in law got her elk. They (kristin, Wes and Brenda) had a long and hard hunt. The weather had just been to warm to have the elk move down and they didn't hardly see anything. Kristin got this nice 6 X 4 with only 2 days to spare. He was broke on one side but still a very nice rack! Wes and his mom weren't able to fill their tags. But they both were happy to see that Kristin got her first one.

The kids made noodles and carmel corn with Gma & Gpa for our weekend at Hidden Springs lodge. Every year my FIL's family rents this lodge the weekend before Thanksgiving. We have a great time hanging out and eating thanksgiving dinner together. We usually have about 80 people there and it is a blast. So here is Hannah and Connor making noodles for dinner.

This is at the lodge. I don't have many pictures of Madison from the Lodge. She was way to busy having Kelsey do her hair , swimming in the hot tub and running around. Hannah was busy doing what ever Dana was doing. She was a great help to Dana while she was making rolls for dinner. Here is Connor and I seeding pomegrantes for Dana's yummy salad.

We had a few crafts and gift exchange for all the kids. They had a blast.

Now this week we will head to Evanston for Thanksgiving with my family. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Here is a picture of Daisy (CiCi had a name change) getting a bath. We think she is so ugly when she is wet. Yes I have gloves on giving her a bath. I can't stand the wet dog hair between my fingers and I can wash her bum with them on. If not her bum doesn't get clean.

Worst tooth fairy of the year

Hi-Welcome to TF Anonymous! Can I get the Worst Tooth fairy of the year award?!?!?!?!?

If you have seen the last post, Madison lost her tooth while Wes & I were in Vegas last week. We told her when we left that if she lost the tooth, the TF would probably wait until we got home since the TF wouldn't know if she was at her grandmas or her aunts house. So she looses the tooth on Thursday at school, literally. Madison and her friend Makall were on their hands and knees looking for it in the hall at recess. She has to wait until Sunday for us to get home. She is so sad saying the TF won't come because she doesn't have her tooth. We tell her the TF will definitely come, she always knows when someone looses their teeth.

Soooo, last night Madison proceeds to tell grandma on the phone that the TF still hasn't come. She is so sad and writes the TF a letter and sticks it under her pillow. I'm sure the TF feels about 1/2 inch high at this point. How could this have happened??

So what does the TF do , she FORGETS again!!!!!! Madison comes in this morning crying because "the stupid TF didn't come again and she gets nothing for this tooth." How sad is that??? I tell her to go get in the shower and maybe the TF is just really busy and running late and she woke up to early. She gets in the shower and the TF FINALLY gets her thing done. This time Madison gets $2 because the TF feels like ****. Glad she tells me while eating breakfast that she forgives the TF. I'm gonna have to hire a new TF or something if she doesn't get her game on.

I originally wanted to make something to leave saying that its ok she lost her tooth at school. The TF has special powers so she can find them. Ya- that obviously didn't get done!!!!

Vegas Vacation

Wes & I were able to get away alone together for the weekend. We went to Vegas for PBR finals. We had so much fun! We have been watching this on TV for several years now. I gave Wes tickets for his birthday this year. Of course we have our favorite bull riders and got to see all of them ride. The production that the PBR puts on is amazing. They had fireworks and everything for the opening production. Our favorite Bull rider is Chris Shivers. He rode 2 of the 3 night we saw him. Our seats were awesome all 3 nights. The first 2 nights we were 2 rows from the dirt. The 3rd night we wer about 12 rows up. We also saw several celebrities in the booth in front of us the first 2 nights. We saw Jewel there both times. The owner of 2 Nascar teams, Tool- the rock band and Tommy Lasorda.

While in Vegas , we also went to Bass Pro Shops.

We went to the Criss Angel Believe Show at the Luxor. It was not the best Cirque de Soleil show. The one we went to in Florida last year was better. This one was OK. His magic and the dancing was cool. The story line was strange. We also thought there could have been a lot more dancing and aerobatics.

We also went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It was also not what I expected but fun. I wish the kids could have been there to see this. They would have loved it. We walked on part of the strip one night down to the Paris Hotel. The strip just isn't what I remember it ebing. I know it has always been trashy but it seemed really bad, especially at night. A guy had his kid with him handing out the flyers of the naked girls. Not very appropiate if you ask me. Anyway, we still had a great time away. It was the perfect getaway!

And while we were gone, Madison lost another tooth. She lost it while at school and didn't realize it was gone. Her and her friend Makall spent recess on their hand s and knees searching for it. But they never did. We told her the tooth fairy would probably come anyway.

Debating

I am debating on whether or not to go private. I saw a thing on the news about protecting yourselves. I have found so many friends from high school by not going private. But now it is the right time to????? I have also found more friends that their blogs are set to private and I can't even say hi!!! I can't decide what to do. Did any one else see the same newscast or am I stressing to much over nothing?

Family Pictures

I got a new camera and my sis in law came to take our pictures today. I think they turned out really good considering we are both amateurs. I love photography and I have wanted a new camera so I ordered my Christmas present a little early. Let me know what you think! Sorry there are so many. I can't decide which ones are my favorite. Of course Connor would not cooperate. So I didn't take very many of him. I love the ones I took of the girls and Kristin took our family ones so good, especially since Connor was so ornery.

Halloween

Here are our Halloween pictures. I am not happy that I didn't get any good ones. Connor does not care about Halloween. He would not get dressed up to be a little hunter. I wasn't happy how Madison costume turned out. I think I am just mad because I wanted her to be a witch and she wanted to be Tink. So, yes I am pouting. We ended up having a fun night though which is all that matters.
