Christmas was great!!!

Our Christmas was great, was yours? We all got what we wanted plus more! The kids got way more than they needed or we have room for. Wes was suppose to be working on Christmas, we are so thankful he was able to be home and surprise the kids. That is the best gift ever! Here is a little of what we got:

Wes: gift certificates, new Fox Pro 5, lots of camping gear
Malisa: Spa gift certificate, crock pot, jewerly, camping gear
Madison: guitar, her very own suit case, part of a salon, coal from papa, books
Hannah: the rest of the salon, her very own suitcase, coal from papa, books
Connor: trucks, trucks and more trucks, tool kits and lots of trucks

We had a great time with family. We spent Christmas day with Wes's family then went to see my family in Evanston.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas as well. Now we are looking forward to the new year.

We had to take our tree down Christmas day because of this! Connor ran into the tree about 5 times. Each time he ran into it, a few more ornaments would fall off.

Coal for Christmas!!!

Is it mean if I am seriously considering coal for one of my kids for Christmas! Enough said!!!!

Traveling

What do your kids do in the car to occupy themselves? Mine usually watch a movie or color in coloring books. Yesterday Connor felt the need to color too. And if you look again you can see Maddy's hand that she colored on. How lovely. You get up early to go to SLC and this is what they do to themselves on the way. Nice!!

What a kid!

Ok Connor is a nut ALL the time! Just wanted to show you what he wears the majority of the day. He is changing his shoes and hats every 30 minutes or so. He always has on 2 different shoes or boots and one is usually his sisters. In this case he does have the 2 matching boots on. And yes his face is dirty. It is always dirty, because he eats NON STOP! We are going to go poor with this kid and his food.

He is also into everything! A few fays ago I was leaving to go to Evanston. I had just got him out of the tub and dressed. I came out of the bathroom find him on the counter eating leftover breakfast that I needed to take out to the dogs. Of course he was hungry AGAIN!

Chrismas Decorating!!!

We are finally getting all our decorations out. I got a lot out a few weeks ago but we put the finishing touches on this weekend.
We painted our annual ornaments at Wes' parents house. We get together and paint ornaments every year and then Wes' mom puts them on a special tree. It is so fun to go back and look at the ones that the kids have painted. The girls had fun as usual. Connor did a really good job. He really got into it. Wes, Todd and grandpa were party poopers. Wes & Todd only painted 1 ornament each. They both usually get really into it. They have both painted some really neat ones.

Saturday we finally had a free day to go get our tree. We had a good time. Kind of sad that there was no snow. It snowed a little while we were up on the mountain but just a skiff. We found the perfect tree for this year and we were headed home to decorate it. The girls were frustrated while decorating their tree, Connor would not leave it alone and he keep tipping in over. Hannah told me "Mom, the ornaments for my tree are cute, and the ones for your tree, well their not ugly they are just..." She couldn't even come up with a word to use besides ugly. So I decided to take a picture of my ornaments to see if the rest of you think my ornaments are ugly. Also a picture of the kids tree in their room.

The ugly tree and some of its ornaments!!

Denver Broncos

We went to Denver last weekend with Kristin & Todd and our cousins Rhett & Megan. We went to the Broncos game against Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos won and we had a great time.

We found to guys these leather heads and Rhett had his broncos head. We went shoppping right before the game and we found pink leather heads for us girls. How fun!! The weather could not have been better for the game. It turned out to be about 60 degrees outside. It was percfect. We also sat by a bunch of other fun people.

We can't wait to go next year. It was the perfect weekend getaway with family!
Sorry Megan, I stole these pictures from your blog. I still want to get copies though.

Here we go again!!!

I am horrible at blogging lately. So here we go again at playing catch up.......Are you ready????

We went to Evanston for Thanksgiving. First the girls and I had cleanings. And for the first time in a very long time, the girls didn't have a single cavity. Horray!!! This is a huge plus, especially when my mom works for the dentist. I didn't have any either. Yeah!!

Thanksgiving was great. My brother and his fiance were able to come and we had a great time. The kids just love their uncle Lance. It usually takes Connor a little while to warm up to him, but it took no time at all this time. Connor is also papa's boy. My dad can't leave the room with out Connor yelling for him. The girls helped grandma make the rolls. They had so much fun. They also helped papa put the rub on the turkey. Connor was hilarious doing this.

Movie time!!
Dinner time
We didn't do Black Friday. We slept in instead. It was very nice. Saturday we went to the Body Worlds museum in SLC. It was AWESOME!!! I loved every minute of it. My kids even liked it. Madison really got into it. I don't think Hannah really knew they were real bodies but she still had fun. Even Connor liked to see the full body exhibits. A must see if you have any medical interest or just to see it is amazing. It is crazy to see what our body has to offer us.

Next we went shopping for flower girl dresses for the girls. They are going to be Lance and Crystal's flower girls at their wedding in May. The girls had a blast trying on dresses and crowns. Hannah was in HEAVEN! The lady told her to come back when she was a teeanger and she would save her a pink Cinderella dress.

Roasting marshmellows!!! Yum!!

Ok now we are back home. We went to see Santa tonight. Suprise, none of my kids cried. I thought Connor would for sure but he didn't. My nephew Wyatt didn't like santa at all and would not take his eyes off of him.

Wyatt new face he pulls! So funny!
