KINDERGARTEN

Ugh... my baby bug started kindergarten today. I think she was ready to go. She jumped up early and we curled her hair, she got dressed, ate breakfast and wanted out the door. She was so cute! I could tell she had a blast and was feeling quite "BIG" in the "BIG" school. The battery on my camera was dead when we went to take picture this morning so we took a few after school. I will have to take more when she gets home. She headed off to a friends house to play. I can't believe she is so grown up. I am going to miss having her home, but the rest of us had some really nice long naps today too and I could get used to that. Ha Ha

YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN

YES, I'M A BAD AMERICAN
by: George Carlin
I Am Your Worst Nightmare. I am a BAD American. I am George Carlin.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not to some mid-level governmental functionary be it Democrat or Republican!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and it does not entitle you to anything.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac you should do it in English

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and whoever canceled Jerry Springer.

I don 't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, nor was a slave. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.

I believe if you don't like the way things are here, you should go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is AMERICA!

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry rear if you're running from them..

I also think they have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my drivers license. I think it's good..... and I'm proud that "God" is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making "donations" to their cause.

I believe that it does NOT take a village to raise a child, Hillary! It takes two parents.

And what is going on with gas prices... again?

I believe "illegal" is illegal no matter what the lawyers say.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please forward this on.
We want our country
back!

We NEED GOD BACK IN OUR COUNTRY!
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!

Kyler & the kids

The girls loved getting to meet Kyler yesterday! Hannah could have held him all day. BUt, she did have to fight Connor to hold him. Connor loves to hold him as well. It was so funny! I would have never thought he would want to hold him as much as he did. He was very soft and gentle with him. Madison can't wait until school gets out today to go hold him. Kyler is such a sweet little boy.

Happy Anniversary and Welcome Baby Kyler

Yep today it has been 9 years. Crazy how the time flies! We now are going to share our day with our new nephew Kyler Glen Christensen.

He is a beautiful baby! He looks like Todds dad to me. He is such a good baby. He slept all day today. He makes the cutest faces and chews and sucks on his bottom lip. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long. Kristin and Kyler are both doing great!! I love being an auntie and I can't wait to go over again tomorrow and hold this sweet little guy!

Lots of new posts!

Nicks Friends

(I know this may be a silly post to some but these guys have made such an impact on our lives !)

I just have to do a post on some of Nicks friends. He has brought home some of the funnest guys that are on the track team with him in Logan. They are all so good with my kids! We just love them. I know there are not many college guys who would just start playing with little kids but all 4 of these guys have and I can't thank them enough for being so awesome!! First we met Ben & Andrew over 2 years ago. They are Madison & Hannah's "boyfriends." Good thing they like the girls because Madison has learned how to text them and I'm sure they get sick of it, but they never say a word!
I can't tell you how many pictures Andrew has had taken of him and the girls! And he puts up with so much too. Madison erased some stuff off his phone and I hope wasn't too mad! (Still sorry Andrew) Andrew just barely got his own name. Madison has called him Ben more that his own name! Madison is always taking pictures of them with Andrew. Hopefully we get to see Ben soon so we can get more pictures of him.

BEN

ANDREW

ANDREW- yes Maddie is kissing him!

Then there is Luke & Damian! They from Poland. We love them too. They were out playing with the kids the first time we met them just like Ben & Andrew. They are living with Wes' parents this summer and helping them out. I don't have many pictures yet but we will.

This is the closest picture I have of Damian.

Fair Week 2009

We had a great time once again this year at fair. I didn't even have my camera most of the time and missed so many things. Connor went to the Livestock sale with papa and loved it. He wanted papa to buy him a pig to ride. The girls had a blast with Kelsy (our cousin) all week. She came and stayed with us and we loved having her. That is for another post. I am also glad that fair is over. It costs so much money to go down there by the time you pay to get into the events to the food, candy, texas twister drinks, funnelcakes, carnival wristbands. Ugh...I need a job now just to pay for all the fun we've had. Papa also had the girls enter some vegtables in the Arts & Crafts Exhibits. Madison won Grand Prize for the HUGE turnips. Then the both won first prize for the apricots, & squash.

Grandma, Connor and Luke (one of our new friends from Poland)

YUMMY snowcones!!

Thanks Randon!
Connor with his buddy Benten (our soon to be Cousin) and Katie!!

Sorry- Forgot to flip the picture!! This is part our of
family at the Demolition Derby!

Wyatt with our favorite drink! Who knows what I
am doing in this picture! Ha ha

Connor LOVED the Rodeo!!

The "COWBOYS"! Thanks for being so awesome Andrew!

The kids love you!!

Madison's Turnips that won Best of Class!

Andrew the great with the kiddos! How many college guys would
do this with kids that aren't even his own nieces and nephews?

We love Benten too! He is awesome and we can't wait
for him and Katie to get married!

Well this some what sums up fair! We can't wait for next years memories at the fair.

South Dakota

We went to South Dakota last week with my parents. We had a blast. The kids were so funny all week. I will have to sit down and think of all the funny things that they said. We stayed a night at my brothers house. We had cake and icecream there for Hannah's birthday. We don't get to see Lance and Crystal often so its always nice to hang out and visit. The next day we headed out early towards Rapid City.

I can't believe how pretty the Black Hills are. I have heard that it was pretty but it was amazing. We were up there the week before the Sturgis Rally so there were motorcycles everywhere. Connor loved seeing all of them. He wanted to ride everyone that drove by us.

Here are some of the places we went to see.

FLINSTONE VILLAGE
Very cute for little kids!!

CRAZY HORSE
Interesting but I will probably never see
it finished in my lifetime.

VISTITING WITH LEEANN!
I haven't seen her since HS graduation!
It was so fun to visit for a little bit. I miss her already!
BEAR COUNTRY USA
Way fun to see all the animals there.
And they all come right up to your car.

OLD MACDONALDS PETTING FARM
Very Cute!

HILL CITY/ STURGIS
Connor climbed up on my dads back to watch the motorcylces
driving by. He loved to see all of them. It was so funny!
He is still talking about them.

SITTING BULL CRYSTAL CAVERN CAVE
Really cool to climb down 400 ft underground.
