Happy Birthday Princess Hannah....

Today my other baby girl turned 5! Wow I can't believe she is five and will be starting kindergarten. She had a fun day and got alot of fun presents. I will post more on her little party later and also our "Karren Family Reunion" at Flaming Gorge.

Yearly Pictures

I decided to try to take the kids yearly pictures. I am happy with some of them but I think I will still have someone come take them. I didn't like any of all 3 together and I couldn't get a good one of just Hannah. They turned out ok. I liked alot that I took of Madison. She is very photogenic.

The house is coming along....

I have totally been slacking on posting picture on the house. It is coming along smoothly. They started framing 2 days ago and will be back Monday to come finish. We now have power, water, a framed garage, poured storage spot in crawl space. Next week they are framing, pouring garages, sidewalks, & patios. YAY! I am getting so excited. It is so fun to go down there and see where things are going to be. It is a little more real now that there are a few walls up.

Rest in Peace Daisy Mae

We lost Daisy either last night or early this moring to a vehicle. Wes found her down on the highway. This is one of the hardest things I have had to tell the kids. This is a very sad day for all of us. Daisy would have been a year old this coming Sunday. She shared a birthday with Hannah. While I was comforting the girls, I don't think Connor knew why they were crying but he even tried to force a cry out. We love and miss you daisy!

Exhausted Swimmers

We have been swimming almost everyday this week. It has been a blast. The weather has been perfect. Except today was a little too hot and I got fried! I haven't had a sunburn for a long time! Hopefully it will be tan tomorrow. Anyway, the kids have had a blast. They had all been so tired by the time we get home. Connor actually fell aslepp one day before we even got home and we live about 1/2 mile from the pool. He slept for 3 hours that day after we got home. I don't have any pictures of them swimming just my exhausted Connor snoozing. I thought I had one of Hannah but I don't. Madison REFUSES to take a nap so no pictures of her either.

Hannah is absolutely disgusted that we have a coffee table and we don't drink coffee. Who would do such a thing??

4th of July Happenings

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We had a great time. We started off the holiday by going to the kids rodeo in Neola. Madison and Connor did the animal chases. Madison caught a chicken. Good thing grandpa already has chickens so we had a place to put it.
Saturday we went boating at the lake with the Christensens. (Thanks for always taking us.) The kids had fun tubing. Even Connor and Wyatt got on the tubes with Madison and Hannah. Then we had a BBQ with Todd & Kristin. We did fireworks for kids and watched the ones that the city does.
We love 4th of July! I am so proud to be American. I love this country!

Fishing

We went fishing a few days ago on Wes's birthday. Connor and Hannah both love to fish. Madison didn't want to go so she headed to Kristin's house.
We had a great time fishing. Connor was mainly just playing with a pole and caught a nice size walleye. It was funny! I kept thinking I better keep an eye on his pole so it didn't end up in the lake. As I was thinking this I could tell something was on his pole, so I reeled it in and finally realized that he had caught a walleye. Hannah said she was a loser because she was the only one who never caught any fish! She is so dramatic so its funny to watch her. Wes caught a really nice one.
We had a lot of fun! The kids love to be on the boat.
