Randoms

This may be where Connor spends 99.9% of his child hood if he doesn't STOP.
He pushes my buttons EVERYDAY!
Yep- He found his birthday cake an decided he needed some.

Fishing time with Daddy!
Look at this kid! What a nut. He acts like fishing is hard work.
She insisted on curlers!

I know I haven't posted ANYTHING of Madison lately. She hasn't been up to much. Just school, tumbling, vision therapy and teasing her brother and sister. I will have to get some of her.

Hopefully Connor gets feeling better. We found out Wednesday that he has pneumonia. Not fun and the medicine they gave him is DISGUSTING! He hates it. It takes Wes and I both to give it to him.

Connor's Birthday Party

We had Connor's birthday party yesterday! We had a blast! We had a yummy dinner, cake and ice cream. Connor opened lots of presents with lots of help from his cousins. He wasn't happy when they helped him open them. He was hitting them, but finally would share and let them help. Thanks to all our family for coming a spending this special day with us.

My 1st Blog Awards!!

Yeah!! I was nominated twice for a blog award. How exciting! Who knew my blog was so exciting. I didn't think it was. I have read alot of them and frankly mine seems quite BORING. Anyway, I do have friends who enjoy reading my blog and now I get to award five people who's blogs I love to read, so hear goes.

First of all, I was nominated by Christie and Kara. This is hard to pick five that I like to read. I would defientely pick Christie and Kara because they both are so funny and update their blogs almost daily. I love to read them.

I play bunco with Christie and we have a ball together. She better get ready because it is at my house in a few months. Last time we had it at my house , she stayed until 2:30 am. We had a blast just talking. Her husband called about 4 times to make sure she wasn't drunk and needed a ride home. No Alcohol involved, we just had a grand time chatting about this and that.

Kara's husband and Wes have been friends since grade school. I have met Kara a few times but we have never lived close by so until blogging I didn't really know her. Now I feel like I do. We are planning a date night with our hubbies soon to get out and have a great time. Can't wait!

Now for 5 more!!
1. The Smith's---I went to Massage school with Laura. We lived together for a while before I got married. We got along so well. I love and miss her so much. Now we have babies the same age. I can't wait for the day I get to meet her little Callie. Laura was in my line for my wedding and I still consider her one of my very best friends. We haven't seen each other for about 4 years. She is so funny and always made me laugh. I can still hear her laugh and I love it.

2. The Wentzheimer's--Ivy and I have been friends since 6th grade. I remember for several years we were inseparable. Then we went to high school and things got a little busier. Even 12 years after graduation. I still feel so close to her. She is a very dear and sincere friend. We have been through so much together and I have many awesome memories with her. Her and Ed are always doing something so fun and I love to live through their trips since I can't travel as much with 3 kiddos.

3. The Nelson's-- Em and I have been very good friends since our freshman year in High school. We had so many fun times together. With Em, Ivy and Me, there was always something fun going on. We just recenlty saw each other for the first time in 12 years and it felt like we haden't missed a beat. It seemed like we missed a day in between. I love to see her blog of her gorgeous Ruby. Ruby is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. She is a doll. I miss them both so much already.

4. The Whitney's-- Chelseas blog is private. We were on drill team together for 4 years. We were together all the time and now we both have similar situations with our lives. Who knew we would live similar lives. Anyway, her kids are so cute. I love to see some one else's kids be as funny as mine. Her kids are characters and they remind me so much of my own kids. So I love to look at her blog of her adorable kids.

5. The Ross's--Dana and Brian are our cousins. Dana and Wes are I guess. Brian and I are just lucky enough to marry into such a great family. I love to read their blog to see Brylee cakes and Danny. I love and miss them so much. We don't get to see each other very often but Dana had make me feel so welcome in this family. We have had many great talks and I love each one of them. We are so much alike and we love the same things. Our girls play so good together. And my kids just adore Danny. Brian and Dana are great examples to me and I can't thanks them enough for that.

For those who won, here are the steps you need to take, in order to award your coolest blogs!
1. Place the logo on your blog
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you
3. Nominate other blogs for this award
4. Add links to those blogs

6. Give a reason why you consider their blogs cool

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNOR!

Happy Birthday to my baby boy!

We went to Orem today to have Connor's 2 YO pics done. He was not happy and we barely got a few good pictures. He says today is not his birthday, and he is not 2. He isn't feeling very good so maybe that is the reason why he doesn't like his birthday today. Now that we have been home he is feeling better but it still is not his birthday.

We went to Red Lobster for his birthday lunch and they asked if we were celebrating anything so we told them about his birthday. After we were done eating they brought out some ice cream for him and sang to him. He was very shy and would not look up at them at all. It was so funny! He usually is not a very shy boy.

We will have is party this weekend when family can come down. Hopefully he is in a better mood by then.

So he is a few of the pictures today from Kidde Kandids. My SIL and nephew cam e withus too and we tried to take pictures with all of them together. I gues they turned out ok. Not my favorite pictures he has taken but they will work for now.

I have also won a blog award so I will post that soon and nominate who I choose is some of my favorite blogs to read, so check back soon.

My baby turns 2...

How sad...!!! My baby turns 2 years old tomorrow. I can't believe how the time flies. We love this little boy so much. He is such a character. He is always doing things that makes us laugh. He is 100% boy. He makes all the truck sounds, loves to watch hunting shows with his dad and shoots all the animals, he loves football, he loves to beat up his sisters, he wrestles with daisy, he still gives his mommy kisses. He always wants to "GO" somewhere. He is ready as soon as I say we are going. He puts his boots on and is out the door before I can even get my shoes on.

Last night we were trying to get him to go to sleep. (He won't stay in his crib anymore.) Anyway I put him in a few times and he would crawl out and come in our room. Wes & I were laughing about how funny he is when he comes in and says "mom, nite nite." About 2 seconds after we are laughing about this, we hear a little growl. He was outside our door growling and acting like a monster to scare us. It was so funny. Wes got up and put him in this crib once again.

I just can't believe that he is growing up so fast. I think they grow so much faster when you know they are your last baby. He has turned into a little boy and I miss him being a baby.

Here is a few pictures of him lately. We are going to SLC to get his 2 year old pics done tomorrow so I will post those when we get home.

Happy New Year !!

Hope everyones new year is off to a great start! Ours was until I decided I needed a 4 day vacation in the hospital. Probably should have picked somewhere better to go but my kidneys decided where I was going. I ended up having a very bad kidney infection and fevers for 5 days now. I have to say a huge THANK YOU to my SIL and MIL for taking care of our kids the whole time. They not only took care of the kids but also came and cleaned my house and did laundry for me. Kristin drove me to the hospital and even took my kids while my nephew was running a fever too. What a trooper! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I had sent Wes off to work the day I went in. I thought I could sleep off my pain and feel better. Nope, didn't happen. I told him to stay at work since there was nothing he could really do. He came home the 3rd day and decided that was way to long. He has also been so good to help with everything since I am still in a little pain.

I also want to thanks all my great friends and family who came to see me and bring me beautiful flowers. It means so much.

Next time I think I'll pick the Bahamas or somewhere similar.
