Rest in Peace Daisy Mae

We lost Daisy either last night or early this moring to a vehicle. Wes found her down on the highway. This is one of the hardest things I have had to tell the kids. This is a very sad day for all of us. Daisy would have been a year old this coming Sunday. She shared a birthday with Hannah. While I was comforting the girls, I don't think Connor knew why they were crying but he even tried to force a cry out. We love and miss you daisy!

Ahhh, that's the worst! Im so sorry. I still remember the exact moment when I found our yellow lab Simba by the side of the road, I cried like a baby all night.
Please give the kids a {{HUG}} for me and I am really sorry!

I'm SO sorry, Malisa!!! That is just awful. It's so hard losing pets. Believe me, I know. Big or small, they become part of the family. She was such a cutie! Why can't people watch where they're going?! Even though it was an accident, it still makes me mad/sad whenever I see a dead dog or cat on the road because I know that somebody didn't care enough to stop and that it was someone's pet. :(

I hope your kids are doing okay. Hang in there!
