Do you have any bad habits?

Do you have any bad habits you want to break? I think this is a half way through the year New years Resolution. Since they never work, I'm doing this.

Anyway...I have had alot of drama going on here lately. Mainly it leads to a bunch of us gossiping! I know I shouldn't do it but I do so I am going to change that. I HATE drama and I swear this town should be the capital for it.

I am making a change right now. I am going to not gossip for a week and see how much better I feel. I know it will be awesome. This means I may not be able to make or receive calls to a few friends but it is worth it. I saw a quote on some one elses blog (I wish I could find it again) and it is awesome.

Great minds talk about ideas, Average minds talk about things, Small minds talk about other people. –Unknown

I also saw on this blog that it is not good to share good news as well because it is not your news to share. Makes perect sense! Here it to a better week!!! Gossip FREE!

Way to be an awesome example! I am so sorry you have had so much drama lately. You are one of the most fun, caring, thoughtful and giving people I know! Thank you for always being there for me. Sounds like you need a trip away from there come on down!!!!

Growing up and going to school here in this small town, I can tell you that gossip has been going on forever, There were times when it was devastating, I only wish that I had the attitude then that I have now, people who know me and love me know the truth and the rest dont matter, people can be very mean, especially when they are unhappy with their own lives, therefor they have to have their noses in others business and they usually get the facts wrong.
I hope that you havent been too hurt by someone because you are a great person and I admire your decision!

Small towns....knowing everyone.....growing up there....I understand.

Since I started my job with child protection....I have so much drama on a daily basis that I dont even give a crap when i hear gossip in the real world. its been great to (unintentionally) distance myself from it. Sometimes, I feel "outof the loop" in my group of friends though....but then I realize that Im not, and we are all still friends. Im not sure any of the made any sense. I just understand how you feel. And you WILL feel better by distancing yourself....you have much more important things to worry about.

Love this! I am a firm believer in NO GOSSIP. Detest it - can't stand it. I'm proud of you girl! People like you can start trends and trends can flow to other people. It is an awesome thing what you are doing. Good for you!

Also, I wanted to let you know that we will definitely be doing the photography course online. It will begin on June 1st. The cost is $129 for the 4 week course via an online forum. However, with the AGD coupon code I will give you, it will only be $99. Therefore, if you want to email me and send me your email address, I'll get you added to the notification list once we've opened registration up to everyone. I'll add your name to the "interested" list and then update you via the blog or email once we finalize details. I found a forum that I can set up for the photography course itself. I just finished my last online class that way and it was great fun. I learned more from it than I have any other. We are going to do a 4week online forum where you can check in and participate at your leisure in the assignments. Should be tons of fun. Thanx for your interest. It'll be fun times~fun times! Sound good? Feel free to email me at Angie@AngieSeamanPhotography.com

Thanks again! I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.
Blessings, Angie Seaman

Well, when you grow up in a small town like Evanston, it seems like gossip is just second nature. That's where we learned how, I think! :) I need to work on mine, too. Another bad habit I have, is biting my nails. Funny, I picked that up in Evanston, too. :) Good luck with your goal! I love that quote.
