What a week this has been! Hannah and Connor have both been really sick. They both have been running fevers off and on since last Thursday. Nothing to bad though. They would go to about 99 and go back down. Well Monday Hannah woke up early sick and her fever kept going higher and higher. I could not get it to break with Tylenol and Motrin so I decided to take her over to the ER. I knew with it being a Monday there was no way we could get an appt. in the clinic. So by the time we got to the ER, her temp was 104.5. They did did blood work, chest x-rays and a UA. They couldn't really find anything wrong with her but the Dr said he knew something was there because her temp was so high. So he checked her out all over again and decided that she was starting to get pneumonia. (She was not happy with them at all with having to do the blood work in the first place. She was crying so hard that she threw up on both of us while my cousin was drawing her blood.) So when the Dr said her wanted to do an IV with antibiotics, she really was not happy. The nurse told her he didn't have a needle and she was ticked when he pulled it out! It made me so sad to see her go through that. It is so hard to be strong when your baby is hurting so bad. Anyway, she had the IV in until Tuesday. I had to take her over Tuesday for another round of antibiotics and then she was thrilled to get her "cast off".
Going to bed with mommy! We had to put a pillow between us to protect her cast!
Her Cast!
In the hospital trying to get her fever to break!

She is now doing so much better. She is not 100% but so much better. And to make matters worse, she is scheduled to have her tonsils out on Monday. Poor Hannah!
Right before taking Hannah back on Tuesday, Connor started to get a higher fever. It was 101 when I left home and it was 103.7 by the time we got to the DR office. He has a double ear infection. Yuck..Yuck...Yuck! He does not like to take medicine at all so the next 10 days are not going to be fun for him. He is already doing better as well and he slept through the night last night. He slept the clock around which was wonderful for both of us!
Watching Cartoons and trying to get better.

We pray that next week will be better and the tonsil thing will not be to bad. We have a lot of things to get better for this month.
Here is a video of Madison. She has been practicing her back hand springs FOREVER! She was having a hard time landing on her feet! She is landin on her feet now and loves to do back flips on the tramp. I am so proud of her. She is so brave.

I feel for you. I just went through heck with my kids. I think all four have had fifths disease now, so they should'nt be getting that one again. That is a way high fever - scary! The tonsils are hard around the fifth day or so when the scabs fall off - pain starts over again. It's worth it though. It seems like they don't get sick as often afterwards. Good luck.
I would have never guessed she had been so sick from the look of her Wednesday... It's great that kids can recover so fast. I'm glad that they are feeling better. I love your two little girls and love getting to know them at tumbling. Madison's back handsprings is coming along great and her back-whip on the tramp isn't too bad either. It's fun to watch them improve all the time...
OOhh, my poor sweet little Hannah, Im so sorry she had to go through that but I am glad that she is doing better!
