Wes & I were able to get away alone together for the weekend. We went to Vegas for PBR finals. We had so much fun! We have been watching this on TV for several years now. I gave Wes tickets for his birthday this year. Of course we have our favorite bull riders and got to see all of them ride. The production that the PBR puts on is amazing. They had fireworks and everything for the opening production. Our favorite Bull rider is Chris Shivers. He rode 2 of the 3 night we saw him. Our seats were awesome all 3 nights. The first 2 nights we were 2 rows from the dirt. The 3rd night we wer about 12 rows up. We also saw several celebrities in the booth in front of us the first 2 nights. We saw Jewel there both times. The owner of 2 Nascar teams, Tool- the rock band and Tommy Lasorda.

While in Vegas , we also went to Bass Pro Shops.
Wes was in HEAVEN with all this fishing stuff!!!
We went to the Criss Angel Believe Show at the Luxor. It was not the best Cirque de Soleil show. The one we went to in Florida last year was better. This one was OK. His magic and the dancing was cool. The story line was strange. We also thought there could have been a lot more dancing and aerobatics.
We also went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It was also not what I expected but fun. I wish the kids could have been there to see this. They would have loved it. We walked on part of the strip one night down to the Paris Hotel. The strip just isn't what I remember it ebing. I know it has always been trashy but it seemed really bad, especially at night. A guy had his kid with him handing out the flyers of the naked girls. Not very appropiate if you ask me. Anyway, we still had a great time away. It was the perfect getaway!
And while we were gone, Madison lost another tooth. She lost it while at school and didn't realize it was gone. Her and her friend Makall spent recess on their hand s and knees searching for it. But they never did. We told her the tooth fairy would probably come anyway.

What a fun weekend. I bet you have won brownie points with your hubby for years to come for that one. I haven't been to Vegas since Season got married a couple years ago but it was definitly a little trashy on the strip. Just don't look down is the name of the game. It was a heat wave when we were there and the clothing if you could call it that on everyone was a little scary. So glad you had a nice get away with Wes. Those are probably pretty rare if you are anything like me and Tereck.
Looks like you guys had tons of fun! I agree though Vegas has gotten so trashy and a weekend is plenty down there. Can't wait to see you guys next weekend.
Fun weekend! I'm definitely going to have to go to the PBR finals some day, but I'm not sure my husband would love it as much as yours!

That sounds like you had fun- it seems like Vegas hasn't changed so much since we were there about 13 years ago. I remember them handing out that smut then. Glad you had so much fun- you guys deserve it.

Yeah, the strip can get pretty trashy. It's nice to hear that that Dad was being a good role-model & teaching his son about the worth of women and what our "purpose" in this life is (rolling my eyes). Eric and I went to Vegas on our honeymoon. I was really upset by those dudes passing out flyers. Especially when they would try to give them to Eric right in front of me! Um, hello?!

How cool is that to see in real life!? And did you see the Chris Angel show? I totally agree...Vegas is trashy as anything I have ever seen. Taylor and I have a 24 hour limit in Vegas. After 24 hrs we always decide to bail and go somewhere else. Even if it is just a drive. Im glad you guys were able to spend some alone time. Cool pictures by the way.
