One eventful weekend!

We had had quite the weekend! It started out with no plans. Just DEEP cleaning closets and drawers. I had one good day of that then we had our Suprise visitors, Scrapbooking until 2am, surprise birthday parties and of course yard work. I wanted to take some pictures of our roses. I am going to miss all of these roses that Wes's grandma planted years and years ago. They are so pretty and I also have hired a gardener to help me out with the watering! I don't have very many pictures of Maddy and Hannah. They we off playing with cousins most fo the time!

Tired of scrapbooking at 1:30 am!!

Getting ready for the party! We took them out! He really didn't wear them to the party! The girls couldn't decide which one to wear but Connor had no problem picking them out! He wanted to wear all of them!

Cooling off in Uncle Dan's waterfall!

Boating and waiting for the Birthday girl!

YUM YUM!!! POPSICLES

My new gardener!

One of my favorite roses!

Another favorite!

Oops! I think he forgot that he was suppose to be watering the roses!

Surprise Visitors

We had some surprise visitors show up on Friday! My parents rode the Harley to come see us. My mom had mentioned a few days before that they might come but I never heard about it again. Well I was DEEP cleaning, like drawers & closets, when I heard a noise out side. I looked out and my dad was just waving! It was fun to have them come down on the bike. Madison loves the bike and wants papa to take her on long rides. He was taking her for a ride and she told him, "just turn on this road up here and I want to show you something really pretty," papa says " how far away is it?" Madison replies " just keep driving, I will tell you when we get there."

This is the first time that Hannah has wanted to ride. It is usually to loud for her. Since grandma had biker boots and a helmet, Hannah had to find somthing to work as well. So she put on her Dora helmet and her pink cowboy boots. She also told grandma that her boots were prettier than grandmas and grandma should buy some like hers. Connor didn't like it to much either, especially when papa would rev it up!

Hannah's attire to ride the bike!!!! How funny!

Sneaky Little Boy!

So I came around the corner the other day and this is what I found! Connor had found the bowl of Cantalope. What a nut!!! He was enjoying every bite and saying "mummm" with each one as well. I have to feed this kid 24/7. He is always hungry!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

What a fun and crazy weekend! We started out by going to the Stadium of Fire in Provo to see Miley Cyrus. The whole show was awesome. They did a very cool tribute to the troops and their families, had skydivers, the fighter jet fly over, the fireworks, The Blue Man Group, and Glenn Beck. The show was awesome, very patriotic! Hannah asked about the skydivers " How do they do that, they must be magic!" It was so funny. The girls loved the show, especially Miley. They danced and sang! It was so cute! They were exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel. Then Saturday and Sunday we had a family reunion at Wes's parents house. It was so fun to see so many cousins that we had not seen for a while. There are so many new cute babies in the family. Grandma Bailey said she has over 20 great grandkids now. And she remembers each one like they were the first. We missed Wes this weekend. Of course he had to work. But we love him and miss him so much! Hopefully he can make it next time! We love you honey!!!!!!! Happy 4th to Everyone!!!!!! Sorry this is another overload of pics!!!!

Happy Birthday Madison & Wes!!!!!

Madison turned 7 on June 27th. We had a fun pirate party on her birthday for her friends and had a family party for her and Wes on Saturday. Wes's birthday is next week but he will be at work so we decided to celebrate while he was home. Both Wes & Madison got BIG surprises for their birthdays. Madison got tickets to see Miley Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire and Wes got tickets to the PBR finals in Vegas. I think they both were very excited. Sorry for the picture overload. I justhought they were all to cute not to show!

Camping at Starvation

We went camping this past weekend at the lake! We had a great time but we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. We tried several different sprays but none of them worked. Finally our last night we used some stuff from Avon and it worked great. I think they liked Connor the best.

We had great time playing in the water, dirt, sun tanning and just enjoying the weather & Popsicles.

Connor and uncle Todd had a blast with the trucks in the dirt, and of course Wes was at work and had to miss all the fun again. We sure miss him. Madison, we never really saw either. She was always with her friend, Madison.

And Hannah stayed close to Wyatt and played with the other kids a little bit. I think I only took one picture of Madison. That OK I will have a bunch coming the end of this week. She is turning 7. Wow, how time FLIES!!!!!

I took a ton of pictures of Connor. He was just to funny not to. I think the saying is true, "this is a face, only a mother could love.." look at him. He was a mess. I would clean him up and he would literally throw and fit in the dirt. He laid in the dirt several times and played with the trucks. He is "ALL BOY" for sure.

Sleepover!!!

We finally were able to meet up with our cousins. It seems like we always have something going on every time they come up. But this time we got to have a sleepover at Uncle Dan's cabin. They girls had so much fun! Thanks Dana for keeping them since Connor wasn't feeling good. The girls had so much fun roasting marshmellows, playing in the water, and having picnics. We can't wait for the next one.

Madison took the last picture with Dana and I in it. She did pretty good for it being totally dark.

My Fisherman Hubby

I just wanted to make a shout out to Wes! He fished in a tournament in Idaho last weekend at Salmon Creek Reservoir. Wes and his fishing partner Travis took first place. Here is the article from a newspaper up there.I am so proud of him!

"Anglers reel in walleye at annual tournament
Idaho Walleye Unlimited held its 11th annual Spring Classic Walleye Tournament on Fathers Day weekend. Forty-five teams from seven states made their way to Salmon Creek Falls Reservoir for a shot at the more than $11,000 in prize money and gifts.

Wes Karren and Travis Grant from Duchesne, Utah, won the tournament with a record 38 pounds, 2 ounces. But the talk of the tournament was Debbie Schaffer's 12-pound, 8.7-ounce tournament record walleye. "This is the biggest walleye I have ever caught," said Shaffer, of Willard, Utah. "We love Idaho."

John Harrison, from the Magic Valley Chapter of Idaho Walleye Unlimited, said: "Fishing was exceptional. Every team caught legal fish. Idaho Walleye Unlimited and Idaho Fish and Game have worked hand-in-hand for several years to get this fishery where it is now. We cannot thank our members, sponsors, and Idaho Fish and Game enough."

The biggest catch
1st place - Wes Karren and Travis Grant; 38 pounds, 0.5 ounces. Prize: $2,683
2nd place - Kevin Hendrix and Brandon Harkness; 28 pounds, 7.0 ounces. Prize: $1,731
